what does your OH think?
is it possible to change venue as you still have just under a year to go?
this could be a positive you could share decorations with the other couple to cut the costs eg in the entrance
if you dont want to have another wedding there is it possible to discuss this with the venue?
i hope its okay xxxxxThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
Thank you. Can't change as only 9 and half months to go, its on double bank hol, have made 2 big payments and most importantly love venue. Other room is bigger and has own bar area etc plus they have to fit round our timings, just having wobbles!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/14

Talk to your venue about your concerns, they should be used to hosting different events on the same day and be able to reassure you they won't interfere with each other.0

We don't have exclusive use of our venue either- it was expensive enough as it was without paying extra for exclusivity! We have to let them know in advance what time we want to do photos in the gardens, so they can co-ordinate with the other wedding and make sure there is no overlap.
It doesn't really bother me- sure it would be nice to be the only wedding there, but the additional cost of hiring out the rest of the building just to have it sit empty could definitely be spent better elsewhere. I think it's nice that our venues are so popular, take it as a compliment
See if you can find out what time the other wedding is happening- it may be several hours before or after yours, which should put your mind at rest as thent here would be little chance of any overlap

we are having our reception in a nice bar, with a function room and there wont be another wedding but the bar gets very very busy of a weekend, im actually not bothered, im quite exited about walking around in my wedding dress - i might even get a free drink :-) Im sure it will be fine, on the day you wont even feel that bothered!

There's another wedding on at the same time as mine too. It bothered me for a while. But I've decided that it's my day and my wedding is going to be perfect for me, and if I see any other brides - well then I'll wish them congratulations and tell them they look lovely!
At the end of the day, your new husband and all of the people you love will be there to see you, and not care about any other weddings that are going on!Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #148 - £59.93
