I bought 1 colour and 1 black original for £18.94 from SVP

I bought them with a bunch of their "80% off" Kodak photo paper so not sure what the delivery on just those inks would be.
Also cheap for ink are http://www.choicestationery.co.uk/index.html

So super highly have to recommend the "peach" system.
Bear with me on this one.
The peach system basically separates the "print head" and the actual ink system. Once you've got the print head, rather than buying the whole cartridge again, you just get a little ink thing.
The black "starter set" contains one print head, and 3 ink cartridges. At the moment from the Cartridge people its £21.99... so that's the same as £7.33 per cartridge. But here's the important bit... these Peach system cartridges contain 19mls of ink. The standard official HP 21 cartridges hold 5ml. So you're basically getting 4 times as much ink per cartridge. The printhead itself is reusable around 20 times, if not more. Once you've got the printhead, its only £10.99 for 3 cartridges. The cartridges themselves are the same size as a standard 21. It's just the ink content which is different.
So basically...
5ml HP re manufactured - £8 then £8 for every subsequent 5ml
57ml Peach system - £21.99 then £10.99 for every subsequent 57ml.
You're basically paying 39p per ML with the peach system starter, followed by 19P per ML when you've got the printhead.
Rather than the £1.60 of the re manufactured cartridge.
The same goes for colour. It's £29.97 but if you order something else (i got some £2.50 BOGOF photo paper), you get £10 off with google checkout. Again the cartridges are bigger (17ml rather than 5ml).
I haven't had the colour cartridge for very long so can't really comment on that just yet but the quality has been fantastic so farThe black one has been a dream though. I've printed off A LOT of sheets... the quality hasn't dropped at all and I'm still on the first ink tank.
I hope I explained this okay lol.
