Would you use a service which printed photographs at the venue while you were holding an event?

If it's a photo booth, yes as that's what it's all about. If it's your wedding photos defintely not.I'd prefer that my photographers energies were spent in taking great photos

It would be independent of the photographer
  • We had an annual work function at the Tower Ballroom and someone did that, the pictures cost £4 each - a 7x 5 photograph in a mount (the photographer took them and someone printed them to collect about 30 mins later) and it was very popular - mine still sits up in the front room!

Now the same function still goes on each year and the cost has risen to £10 per picture, needless to say it is significantly less popular and only those on awesome salaries tend to get them now.

If we're talking photo-booth style photos for guests to take away with them then I don't see the harm. But if we're talking main wedding photos then I would imagine I'd want them to be edited/proofed by the professional photographer(s) and can't see how that could be done on the day, and put into a nice album for the couple.
