If its for this month you'll be hard pushed to find anything still available because of the festival. They also put the prices up, cost my friend £400 for a week over at the meadows!

Ivory and Willow is fine if you want a panini or something (it's the place with the silver man in the window) but I don't think they really do meals. Winston's is meant to be nice enough - it's the pub down the one way street to the library. Apart from that it's the Toby carvery or the Wetherspoons White Lady, or a couple of other pubs I've never been in.

Had breakfast in the White Lady the other week, £7 odd for two including 2 x hot chocolate, it was nice enough.
  • The Corstorphine Inn used to be popular but haven't been in years. Fabios (Italian) and the Manor House(Chinese) at Drumbrae Roundabout are both popular. Alternatively get picnic stuff and take a walk to the top of Corstorphine Hill, great views on a sunny day - it's the sunny day you may have the problem getting!

Walked passed the shop yesterday and it's very definitely a woman, unless the silver guy has man boobs :rotfl:

Abidas really nice for an indian / Thai business lunch.

Much prefer Wongs to the Manor house for chinese - better food, better service, better prices.

Depends what you want. Why Corstorphine btw? If you were prepared to go down as far as Haymarket there's plenty there and you pass a shedload of places on the way. There's even a Japanese restaurant at Murrayfield.
