This month's theme is 'shape'
Include a few words, which we might publish, about why the photo fits this month's theme.
Send your high-resolution jpeg photos to [EMAIL="photocomp@bigissuenorth.co.uk"]photocomp@bigissuenorth.co.uk[/EMAIL] and mark your email 'photo comp'.
A panel of judges will decide on the winning entrant, who will receive a £25 prize.
We are lookng for originality, atmosphere and flair as much as technical ability.
We will publish a selection of the best photos each month and they will also go forward to our photo of the year competition.
You can enter as many photos as you want. Edit, alter or improve your photos - but remember, this is a photo competition, not a Photoshop competition.
You must legally hold the copyright to your entries but we reserve the right to publish them as we see fit in The Big Issue in the North.
