That's the same letter they sent me and is not worth the space it occupies.
I guess the next step depends on what you want to achieve. Do you want the charges back, a payment arrangement or not to pay?
I recently sent them a formal complaint by recorded delivery, as they never replied to my letters. I would pay £50 a month then they would just send a standard letter saying pay a (what seemed random) amount by x or else.
I basically said I was not paying anything else until they told me who was the legal owner of the account and what an acceptable payment would be. Reminding them that there was no credit agreement for the account.
Also tell them what they provided was vaguely interesting but is not what you asked for or legally required and they should not pretend that they have a valid agreement when they do not.
I got a response from Shop Direct (group owners of the catalogues and NDR) that said they would accept £50 per 4 weeks and not make any further admin charges as long as these were met. After 12 months they would need to review blah...
HTH, PM me if you need any help.
very good
aree aware that shop direct agreement from back then arent worth the paper they are written on. that is if there was one which in many cases there wasn't in the first place
if you make it clear that you wont accept the nonsense they send out as agreements then they back down more often than not0 -
When I was trying to sort out my mums debts a few years ago she had some debt with shop direct and they had passed it to NDR? I think.
Anyway I sent them the prove it letter and they sent back a copy of the credit agreement but it had a specified amount in it of about £50 however they had obviously kept upping her credit limit so I wrote back asking for a copy of the document where my mum had agreed to the new credit amount and we ahven't heard anything from them since.Total Unsecured Debt at October 2018 £29,411

The credit limit is variable and states in the terms and conditions so by agreeing to the terms she would of agreed to having increases and decreases! however you can request to have the credit limit capped i believe.0
