Wardrobe Hanger Obsession!

We live in a consumer society. They sell us things. We don't see the things - we see the dream that the things promise.
So, my latest thing is hangers. Prosaic, yes.
BUT the dream is of a beautifully organised wardrobe.
Velvet flocked hangers are the latest thing for non-slipping clothes.

But I'm on a budget, and can't justify buying 100 of the things.
However, I do like the look of the non-slip self adhesive shoulder grips on the same page. Does anyone know where to get them, please?
I've found one place in the UK, but by the time you add delivery and VAT, it comes to £22 for 100, which is silly.

They sell something very similar in home bargains 2.99 for 10 I think it wasSpreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:0

Putting rubber bands around the ends of the hangers has the same non-slip effect.
I'm in the process of covering all my hangers myself, so they're all padded. I'm doing knitted covers. I suppose it depends if you're into 'crafty' things.0 -
I wouldn't say it was an "obsession" - all the hangers in my wardrobe match it's just tidy that way!
I pay £2 for 10 hangers, so to me £22 for 100 seems quite reasonable actually especially as they are velvet.0 -
Noodles, thank you for that. Unfortunately, I live near Sutton and Croydon, and nowhere near a Home Bargains. And their online site didn't sell hangers.
Maman, I'm really clumsy and not very crafty. My hangers are like this:

How would you put rubber bands neatly round them?
Mary, unfortunately, it's £22 for 100 little non-slip pads, not hangers.0 -

Hi, not sure if you or someone you know is a Costco Member but they sell 50 black flocked hangers for £10.49 +vat - I will see if I can find an image and attach laterTwenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

My husband used to be, but he died. Sounds like a good price.
However, in the interests of strict economy, I was hoping to do a cheap DIY thing to my existing hangers.0 -

I find TK Maxx are good for hangers at a reasonable price.Normal people worry me.0

I've seen some in primark too. I can't remember how much they were but they had a few different colours.
Bought the necklace/accessory hangers that matched though. Like a miniature tie rack & quite cute! But I still don't have a beautifully organised & arranged jewellery collection

They also do flocked trouser hangers which hold 4 pairs per hanger, which are really handy.I wish I would take my own advice!0
