Edinburgh publishing house Canongate is launching a new imprint called The Canons, through which they’ll release modern literature classics with new introductions by authors such as Roddy Doyle, Seamus Heany and Thomas Pynchon. To celebrate, they’re running a pop-up shop at 20 Queensferry Street, with a week of readings at 5.30pm nightly from Thu 25 Aug. They’ve also provided us with two complete sets of the 12 launch titles, including Michel Faber’s Under the Skin and Charles Bukowski’s Ham on Rye, to give away - see the full list below.
