PPI on historic LLoyds TSB Loans

I'm hoping someone can off a little advice to help my Mmam's partner.

I've already sorted out his current loan and credit card PPI (obtaining a bit of money back). He's had a few loans over the years from lloyds (his bank) which have all be paid back in full but we have since realised they will all have had unrequested PPI on their.

Is there any way of requesting details of the previous loans and then trying to put in a historic request?

He doesn't have any loan ref numbers etc. Are there letter templates to request information from the bank?

Thanks in advance :A

Hi there, you could try phoning and give as much info as you can regarding the loans and they may pick these up.
If they find them for you, look here for reasons for mis sell and have them ready as you can put a complaint in over the phone.

If you get no joy with this, then go into a branch of Lloyds and they may help you more.

Hi with my OH's LLoyds claims, he just went into his local branch and a nice man did a screen print which showed all the account numbers and whether they had ppi or not so maybe try that as a first option?

    Hope you get success anyway.

    Hi there

Even though I requested a SAR some time ago, they provided me with all data going back to the very late 90's, I have so far succeeded on making a reclaim on all the loan and credit card PPI from these years.

However, I recall on our very first loans as from the mid 90's (2) to be exact at that time, as this data info was not included within the SAR, so I recently emailed lloyds gave them the details by giving my bank account number (even though i no longer bank with them),gave them our current address and the last address which was when we had taken out the loans, they were very quick on emailing me back with all the loan account numbers and confirmed they had ppi.

If you want to do this to save money on requesting for paperwork, you can email them on:

    customer.care.insurance@lloydstsb.co.uk

    Good luck.

To make a reclaim you can do so by completing the reclaim questionnaire below.
    customer.care.insurance@lloydstsb.co.uk

Or go directly to Lloyds site where they have the same details of how to make a reclaim, with the same reclaim questionnaire, and where to send etc.
If mis sold for all the same reasons, you can keep to the one form, remember to enclose all account numbers that apply, but you can do so separately if you prefer, but I suggest completing a separate questionnaire for loan ppi to credit card ppi.

Also to state, if you bank online and have an account with lloyds now, this I believe will allow you to go back to about 2002, so you can check statements from then on, the loan account numbers are normally shown next to the loan monthly repayments.

    Hope this info helps.
