Hello everyone- its not a hugely dfw thing to do but rather than get a naughty take- out we got one of those Asda Indian meal deals :0) was delish! We're currently in a work apartment so v diff to cook- when we move into our permanent home next month we will try making our own.
But, for now I'm happy we spent £7.50 instead of £30+. also rather than going out for a cocktail I split the lonely bottle of Sol into 2 glasses & used up the last bits of lime :-) perfect 'take-out' evening for under a £10. Only small things but Im pleased!First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!0 -
Good Afternoon gang!
I’ve decided its time to start posting on here again
Thanks to you all for your thoughts/opinions last week
So, the upshot of last week is that I spoke to Brother and put my side across and we are ok. Sent BIL a text saying I was too hasty and I think that we both owe it to my brother to make an effort – he replied that he will come back to me (I’m still waiting).
Anyhow, I’ve done my bit so it’s up to him now!
This weekend I have/will:
• Checked online banking – no change
• Meals from storecupboards
• Watched things on sky box instead of going out
• Caught up on sleep
• Chill
• NSD
• Off later to scout a location for NYE (it’s a special NY so time to celebrate)
• Drunk loads of water
• Filled in food diary
• Eat plenty of fruit and veg
• Dig out bits for ebaying later this month
• Catch up on this thread (been MIA)
• Look for MS jobs
• Take vthe normal vits and meds
• Check up on debts
• Look at a recipe for carrot cake
• Put washing on quick wash
Think that is about all, take care everyone

Went to http://www.batistehair.co.uk/ and signed up for their newsletter to receive a free wee can of dry shampoo.

Hi everyone.
I've had an expensive long weekend away at a large motorbike rally/festival down in Stratford.
As I had to take a car to take dogs into a local kennels (ran by my friend so cheap) took full advantage of disposable barbies, bacon, rolls, own beer and coffee etc. that you struggle to fit on the bikes, saving a few bob here and there. Still spent too much though but hey, it's the closest me and OH will get to a holiday this year and we had great fun.
Anyway, back on the wagon tomorrow. I have a couple of bit finishing on Ebay soon, only 99ps at moment but they will add up.
Have done 2 loads of washing already tonight, one nearly dry on line and on airer as i type, the 2nd in machine. Still a pile to do, including tent!
Many thanks Ally for the links!
I shall see everyone tomorrow, have the day off as a hollibob and loads to do.0
