How long until you're a 'new customer'...

I'm trying to findout how long it is until a person is considered a new customer (after cancelling a credit card, so that they can take advantage of new 0% purchase deals with the same company). There is a MSE page, which is pretty good, providing a table covering some cards.

But the table doesn't mention Sainsburys, Marks and Spencer and Tesco credit cards.

Anyone know how long their 'new customer' period is?

Any help appreciated!

suggests Tesco is 8months and M&S 6months, but doesn't know about sainsburys.

I believe Sainsburys used to be a couple of months (at least one statement period) as per Bank of Scotland's wait period.

However, since the LBG takeover of Halifax/BoS (Sainsbury's Bank is now a JV between J Sainsbury and LBG) this wait may now be 6 months?
