Baby clothes - if it turns out you are having a boy, why no dye some of your pink stuff? I've just dyed some of my daughter's baby vests (because I needed one to be bright red for a fancy dress costume) and was really pleased with how it came out, so think I will do some more. I paid about £1.50-£2.00 for a little tin of Dylon dye and it will probably do at least 6 items of clothing, maybe more.
Another advantage is you don't have to put up with the wishy-washy pastels that baby clothes always seem to be, you can have some really cheerful bright colours instead0 -
Seriously I would take time to learn to use a sewing machine.
Since Saturday I have made
6 pairs trousers
3 pairs bermuda shorts
8 shirts
3 pairs pajamas
All from an old flannel sheet and a bag of Dads clothes that were destined fro the charity shop. Almost a whole wardrobe for the cost of some elastic for the waistbands - and no-one will be smarter that my little lad in his chinos and checked shirts.

Hello
I am similar as pregnant with first but had bad first and second trimester. Starting o feel a bit better now and getting o grips with finances before baby comes.
Slow cooker is great as allows for easy cooking. Chili or bolognese work well then can use in batches as fillers for stuffed vegetables or pasta bakes with a cheese sauce or even as topping for jacket potatoes. For lunches pasta salad is popular in our household. Frozen peas are handy as when I can really be bothered to cook much can fry an onion add rice chicken stock and some peas to make savoury rice.
Do you have a garden? I am lucky to have some fruit which I can eat fresh or cook to have in pancakes. Made with value flour of course. Have also frozen some so can eat well in winter. Even if you don't have access to free fruit buying in season then freezing does save money.
Vouchers - make sure you sign up for all the baby clubs to get as many vouchers as possible.

another idea is to breastfeed i couldn't feed my twins they were prem and i was very very ill after they were born and was in hospital until they were 4 months, but my youngest was exclusively feed til 10months and the thrived, i saved a fortune and felt a great sense of achivement at seeing him weight going up
I really do hope to breast feed for as long as possibleBaby clothes - if it turns out you are having a boy, why no dye some of your pink stuff?
