Does anyone know exactly how many conversation reports and market research sheets we are expected to do for these trials?
  • For those of you with Bold Rose & Peony vouchers to give away, the 667ml (18 wash) is currently on offer in Asda at £3 (making it £2 with voucher) and the 925ml (25 wash) is on offer at £5 in Sainsbury, making it £4 with the voucher.

this works out, with vouchers, at 11p a wash with the 667ml and 16p a wash with the 925ml

Tesco doesn't have it listed on MySupermarket but on their own website the 667ml is a whopping £4.59 - or just over 25p a wash before the voucher.

Here's the complete list of prices currently (liquid only. tabs/powder not covered by vouchers):

    Tesco
    667ml £4.59, 25.5p a wash before voucher, 19.9p after

    Asda
    667ml £3.00, 16.7p a wash before voucher, 11.1p after

    Sainsbury
    667ml £4.52, 25.1p a wash before voucher, 19.5p after
    925ml £5.00, 20p a wash before voucher, 16p after

    Ocado (no vouchers for Ocado)
    667ml £4.59, 25.5p a wash
    925ml £7.00, 28p a wash

    Morrisons
Not yet known - will check later if poss

Shame that most of the vouchers are for Tesco :-( but they are valid until November so I'll keep my eyes open for offers.

I've already got some interest in the vouchers from mentioning the trial and product on my Facebook page.

It's a shame that the cap was broken on my sample one, so it won't stand up (has been smashed on one side - looks like it was done BEFORE it was wrapped and packed as the missing bits aren't in the bag).
    Would LOVE to win:
A hamper - any sort! A goody bag - any sort! A UK mini-break. A year's supply of something foodie. Anything Sci-Fi related
2013 wins - Cutting Room book, Rock n Rose necklace, £50 M&S voucher, Greggs coffee, £70 voucher for a Onesie

In the guide book for Bold it says there's three surveys to do online, but I can't see anything about how many conversation reports etc. I've already filed two conversation reports (for mentioning on Facebook and Twitter) and will file another one for mentioning it on MSE!

I have also asked my colleagues to fill in the little surveys in the booklet so I can pop their results online, and my lovely MiL is popping to see us on Friday so I will ask her to do one and give her a coupon (I've promised her loads of coupons and an insight into MSE's forum :cool2:)

yes, I'm sure the Max Factor one is 3 surveys too.

I had one come through yesterday so completed that and have sent two conversation reports and 4 or 5 of those market research sheets.

It's a shame they haven't indicated what's an 'acceptable' number of conversation reports. Or do you think it's based on the number of samples they've sent you? i.e. 18 foundation samples, so they expect 18 reports?

I don't want to do what I think is a good number and for them to think I haven't submitted enough and not invite me for campaigns in the future!! or the opposite.... if I spend time submitting loads and half the amount would have been acceptable!

At least with bzzagent they tell you how many reports you need to do!

i dont know if i will bother its an awful lot of work for one sample of bold. I dont like pestering people and to be honest i dont think alot of people have got spare money for luxury washing powder.

I don't have anything to compare the workload to as I've not done this sort of market research before. Is it normally less? TBH it's only taken me a few minutes to fill in three conversation reports and get two colleagues so far to fill in the little surveys.

I finally received my Max Factor pack, yupee! I tried the foundation and it is great. However, as someone mentioned, it would have been perfect if in the sample there was a variety of tone as the natural' does not suit most of my friends.
  • Scoped out the Bold availability last night... None of our local Supermarkets (A, T or M) stock it - so little chance of the coupons I give away being used. Shame.

There is no 'expected' number of conversation reports or sheets to hand in - you do what you are able to, and won't be pressed into doing more, although we'll no doubt get emails if we haven't submitted any reports etc. It's all good.

Thanks for that.. have you already asked them the question then? I couldn't find it anywhere on the website or in the trial info.
