!!!!!y AIC phone call

Hey guys, I know theres a lot of threads about AIC but I have a few questions.
Im taking over my debt payments and paying them directly instead of through a debt management company. I appreciate all they did to help me but I can put the £37 management charge towards my car insurance.
So I rang AIC to change the method of payment and the first theing to come out of the womans mouth was 'So you will be paying more now you dont pay a management charge' the tone in which she said this instantly changed the mood of the phone call, I just knew she was gunna be a !!!!!.
All other debt agencies where fine and easy to deal with and didnt even question that i was no longer going to be paying the management charge.
I told her that i had no plans to pay any more than i do and that the £37 was going towards my car insurance. the sniped back and said she was sending a income/outgoing form to "assess" me....
Im not too concerned as im a student and am not even earning as much as when i first started this process years ago, so they have no way of squeezing more money from me
HOWEVER
I am concerened that they may ask about my partners income (which is quite good) and try use that to get more money.
any advice, I cant leave her off the form as she pays the mortgage which AIC will inevitabley want to know.
thanks
