Defaults Ending Soon Advice Needed how to deal best with them & Full Final Offers?

Hi There
I have a few creditors where the defaults are to end in January. If I offer a F & F and they accept before this date, will this show on my account that partially settled when the default drops off? Or will the debt just dissapear in January.
If the debt disapears then it would be worth me making a partial payment if this disapears the same time? I dont want partial payments showing on my acount for years when ive finally reached the 6 year mark where the Defaults drop off.
I have a few defaults dropping off in January that are very low balances, what would happen and show on my report 1) if I still owe when the default drops off, 2) If I pay it off before this date?
Also one of my creditors is reporting for the last 36 months that payment late, even though we are on an arrangement, if I offered F&F partially settled, how long will this show on my account for? I have not ever defaulted on this account? I have been paying for 5 years and not missed a payment, what is the likelyhood of Direct Line accepting £350 for a debt of £1800? They seem to be happy taking £35 a month of me?
Sorry for all the questions, but this site is great, but I dont seem to find the answers to these questions.
