I don't know if this always works, maybe I've just been lucky, but often when making purchases online I google for discount vouchers.
I just ordered pizza from Dominos and had a look around. There were no decent ones in date, but there was an expired one that had been for 20% off your order, and I thought I might as well give it a go. And it worked!
So sometimes it's worth giving an out-of-date code a try
