Tesco voucher madness

Over the last 9 weeks I've received 6 £6 and 2 £9 vouchers for a £50 spend at the till - one a week with one week missing (got a £5 of electrical that week).
I just cannot work out why they are doing this. I mentioned it on another forum and someone suggested that it may be some freak error in their computer system that is causing me to get selected week after week.
Not that I'm complaining but I'd be interested to know if it's happening to anyone else or if anyone knows some weird and wonderful reason why it might be occurring.

There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.

Simple - they are trying to get us to spend more. If someone spends £100 a week or so they do not get the vouchers, they are encouraging "low" spenders to spend more to get the discount. Fortunately the dates on a lot of the things I normally buy for Christmas are now coming into the area where I can stock up for Christmas to make up the extra few pounds to get my £6 off £40 or whatever. People are spending less in Tesco because of discount supermarkets, and we have Aldi and Lidl within 5 minutes walk! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

If you have both sainsbury's and tesco money off vouchers you can use them both at tesco. I only found this out the other week and I used the tesco clubcard £4 off £40 shop, daily mail £5 off a £40 shop and a sainsbury's £8 off a £40 shop. Trick is to give the till assistant the tesco vouchers first and sainsbugs one last as that one always scans regardless of the amount left on your shop total.
I'm hoping to get a £40 shop down to around £23 tomorrow using sainsbury's voucher, tesco voucher and some luncheon vouchers. Always feel a bit nervous at the till but ti's worked so far12015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -
