Can anyone help please?

Hi all

Can anyone answer a question about the Annual Credit Report site please? I checked my credit report with them last July and I'm pleased to say I had a really good credit score, however recently I've had a credit card application refused!

My credit rating is still the same when I checked yesterday. Or is it possible it's been updated and that I will need to pay again to get my revised score?
If anyone knows please enlighten me!!

Thank you

my understanding is the the free annual credit report is just that ..once a year you get an uptodate credit report and it doesn't change until the next year.
if you want an up to date one more often then you have to pay...might be better to go direct to the actual CRAs.

I think it will only get updated once a year and that will be the same date you signed up i'm thinking.

  • Oh. Although maybe it has but we have to pay again for an update?

I assume I'll get another one next July as its an 'annual' credit report! But I could do with fining out why I was refused a credit card. It's not easy being a card tart when you can't get another card!!!

Thanks for your reply angeluk
  • Oh of course lol... that's why it's called 'annual credit report' LMAO.
