Does anyone know of any mortgage calculator spreadsheets that will let me enter variable interest rates and variable overpaymwents through the life of the mortgage and it will show me what effect that will have on how many months I don't have to pay at the back end of the mortgage?

Not sure about variable overpayments, but you can do variable interest rates on the Smile mortgage calculator..
Hope this helps in some way!0 -
This is a pretty good one. Very adjustable and presents the information in graphics and numbers.

Peter, if you, or anyone else, PM me with your email address I'll send you a spreadsheet I've got.
It doesn't have pretty colours, and you need to drag down changes to mortgage rate etc, but you can put as many additional payments in as you want and if you scroll down (a long, long way  ) you can see when it will be paid off.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I downloaded a mortgage spreadsheet which allows you to enter overpayments, and has a summary box describing how much time and money you have saved on your mortgage with these overpayments being made.
As im new i cant post links but you can get the spreadsheet from mortgagerunner.co.uk/tools
hope this helps
