Free eye test and prescription from Tesco

Options
In my local Tesco they are doing eye tests for free and giving you the prescription. You are not obliged to buy glasses or anything else from them, there's no catch. had my eye sight checked yesterday, got my prescription. I'm not sure if it's nationwide or just in my local one.
If you feel my post has been useful, " merci" would not go amiss.

A donde fueres, haz lo que vieres.

  • This is nationwide. It is worth noting that anytime you get your eyes tested the optician is OBLIGED to give you a copy of your prescription so if it is not offered ask for it.

Eye Exams in Scotland are paid for by the NHS which is in turn funded by our taxes, so not quite freee.

  • Thanks very much Laddu - this has come in very handy as I require a yearly sight test and the time is now coming up for my next one. So off to Tesco's I go! :)
