This is my first time posting on this thread. One of my NY resolutions is to keep track of my spending. Today will be a NSD. Staying in to avoid temptation.

This is my first posting on this thread but I am looking to save as much money as I can so need to stop spending!
Today I have spent £2.99p on lunch at boots, normally make my own lunch but today I thought I'd treat myself. Tonight I am staying in so this should be it for today.

I really need to keep track of my spending and have started to keep a spending diary.
Spent £3.20 on lunch at work today (will have to remember lunch from home for next week).

hi Moozie & all, nowt for me today (I did have to buy some medication but trust me it wasn't non-essential so I'm not counting it!!) (actually it was £9.99 but even if I did add it to the budget challenge I'd still be well under)0

Kazonline wrote:15p today - I NEEDED a choccie bar due to pmt, so splashed out on a freddo. It just goes to show how effective this thread is - it normally would've been a dairy milk, and 'cuase the boys are home it would've had to be the family size one... (with me eating half, lol)
Erm, at what time does the Monday- friday challenge end? Please say at the end of the working day (say 5pm?) as I reeeeaaaally want to go to Ikea.....

pair of smalls in the next sale 2.00 ( for my prize for getting new job)
5.19 in waitrose on reduced meat, lettuce for tea, and a few other bits that were [STRIKE]needed[/STRIKE] wanted

lil_me wrote:Well I didn't resist Tescos but got the lovely boots I wanted and resisted before Xmas, which were £40 down to £15
, also bought a caffetiere half price
£8 wanted one for ages. 2 pairs of shoes for DSs in sale were £5 each. Pleased I waited to buy all those..
Also found out the free holiday I mentioned yesterday isn't self catering, it's actually half board with brekkie & 3 course meal at tea time
and they have pool, entertainment etc so over the moon. Plenty of time to shop about for cheaper but better boarding kennels for the dogs (Oldest dog went last year and came back very thin
) Will be looking for vouchers for activities and saving up my tescos deals again for trips to places.
lil_me you are doing so well! Fab self control, I am proud of you! :T
This holiday keeps getting better and better  Hope you find a nice retreat for the dogs
