Did you parents not read any of the policy information?
  • There is cover on there for unemployment but only for my dad and not my mum, my dad is self employed my mum was in full time employment. Ive contacted solicitor this morning with all the details as ive had lots of conflicting answers about this, i have been advised that the policy has defo been mis sold and to contact a company who can deal with it. I didn't wan't to use a company to do the claim but I really have no idea where to start.

    Thanks for all your replies

Based on what you have said, I cannot see a mis-sale. Still, if you want to waste money on a solicitor, that is your choice. Plus, are your parents happy to admit to a lender that they committed mortgage fraud and the potential consequences that go with that?

So another fraudulent complaint goes in with some claims company hoping that the firm settles as its cheaper to settle with a compromise rather than fight the case.
