You can get all sorts of celeb masks from a site called Funky Bunky. Only about £3.50 each.
I saw some pics of a friend a while back who went to a party as Lord Sugar. Only needed a pinstripe suit and a mask.0 -
When we kids on holiday i won a fancy dress when i had loads of cabbage leaves pinned to me and a sign around my neck with 'i'm not as green as i'm cabbage looking'
Another time i got dressed as Buzby when he was in all the BT adverts.
One fancy dress party i got dressed up as Gary Glitter when i made a suit out of bacofoil and asked in the barbers for some hair, to make a hairy chest.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

It is! I built it as a regular Lego man then we decided it wasn't very 'Halloween' so we added the stripes to the top and bought a Krueger glove. It's scarier now it's in pieces in my garage - I spot the grinning head poking out of a box every time I pop to get something out the freezer.
We must throw it out really, it's not exactly got much potential for future use, my OH was at risk of passing out in it!0 -
There are some great fancy dress ideas out there now particularly some of the retro costumes from the 80s such as pacman, crayola crayons and the mr men. Check out abfab fancy dress online for some great ideas.0

Hey,
Just another suggestion, we did Shrek & Princess Fiona.....very easy to make out of cheapo fleece blankets etc. Has the added bonus of no-one being able to nick your taxi when the driver is looking out for you!
Best of luck

Husband tells me one of the best parties he ever went to was the idea of his oldest sister, as she was about to go to Uni. The theme was 'Inanimate Objects'. He went as a standard lamp, even wired up a small bulb to a battery..... Bizarre!0
