Harrashing phone calls to employer by Pay Day loan company

Hi guys
Long story fairly short........I have spent the past 6-8 months attempting to salvage my personal finances from some serious previous mis-managment.
At my worst point I got invloved with six different pay day loan companies at the same time and got trapped in the never ending cycle of deferrals/roll-overs etc without clearing any debt.
Thankfully at the beginning of this year I finally took my head out of my backside and began cleaning up my act, consequently by October I will have paid four out of six of these creditors back in full via monthly payment plans (standing order) whilst making inroads with the other two.
Anyway, on to my main point.......
The company Payday Express have been particularly awkward during the whole process of negotiating repayment arrangements - they have repeatedly refused to communicate with me via email as it apparently contradicts their data protection policy (this despite the fact that I receive regular emails from them with highly personal information such as name, account ref, amount outstanding etc). No other payday loan company has had a problem communicating via email.
I have repeatedly stressed the need for correspondence in written form so that documentary evidence can be provided in the future if necessary - I will not agree to anything simply over the telephone as it cannot be proven as factual.
Anyway after weeks of effort I eventually managed to get them to provide me with their bank details so that a standing order could be set up - the delaying tactics used has meant that my account has now incurred additional deferral/default fees etc.
I have now been repaying small amounts on a weekly basis via standing order in addition to monthly cheque payments sent via recorded delivery.
However I am now been harrased on a twice daily basis via telephone call, both to my personal number and my work number. It is the second point which concerns me most - I feel strongly that they have no right in calling my employer every day in regards to a personal matter which is already being dealt with - it is unnecessary not to mention embarassing. In my last letter to them I stated that I wished for the daily phone calls to cease but wondered if I have any legal rights if they do not?? Am I able to report these calls to my employer to a relevant authority?
Thanks in advance!!

You can certainly insist that they stop calling under the DPA - but they are allowed to take I think 30days to process the request - which obviously won't stop them in the short term. Still worth sending the letter I would think, See this template and the extra part at the bottom of the post - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=11571485&postcount=4A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
