Is the torch a single LED?
Also, are the internal batteries Ni-Cad or NiMh? (If Ni-Cad it should state somewhere about disposal, as cadmium is a poison).0 -

Brilliant product! I bought one of these in 2008 for £2.96 they did shoot up in price for a while. But seem to have come down but I use mine every summer, it gets thrown about, has been covered in beer and dropped in a river and is still going!
The torch is pretty good on it.0 -
Yes its quite good torch but not as good as my led lenser (creed) but good for one led light (not creed)
The battery takes 2xAA batteries I use NimH in it, I usually use a dab radio now though but its a pretty rebust radio/torch for prices. I dropped mine and glued chasis back on and it still worksKernel_Sanders wrote: »Is the torch a single LED?

'AA' is a size, not a type and in any case I was referring to the internal batteries that store the charge made when you turn the handle.0
