:hello: 051 here! I check in most days but don't always post. Spending is almost under control now and I have started the New Year with a spending diary (scary:eek:) don't have credit card debt (anymore) but do have a large mortgage to clear asap. Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

1)how many people who have one of these numbers still actually frequent the boards. Yes!
2) How many people are in a better/worse/same situation Better! especially if I achieve my goal for this year
3) How many people have fallen of the 'wagon' so as to say I have to keep telling myself I CAN do this & I have a constant battle going on in my head but I am proud to say I have stayed on the wagon most of the time
4) What the number means to them? Being a member of such a determined & supportive club is great & I hope you'll all be proud of me one day! Hope we get lots of new members in 2007

I'm still in the fold.:j
Check the boards every day and have learnt such a lot. Saved loads of money and learned to say no or "do I really want/need it"
Helped friends to save money as well.
I feel proud to belong to a community of people who are not at the mercy of advertising companies and who ask sensible questions before buying....or at the very least squeeze a few extra rewards out of their purchases by using Quidco, Pigsback, vouchers, coupons...............
Now..do I really need that 3 week break in Barbardos;)0 -

I do - DFW no. 29 here! I try and check in at least once a day, even if I don't always post.
2) How many people are in a better/worse/same situation
I'm in a much better situation. I'm technically DF now as the last of our debt is on a 0% cc until May, and we have more than enough in savings account to cover it. However, I still consider myself a DFW Nerd (and suspect I always will...!!
)
3) How many people have fallen of the 'wagon' so as to say
I haven't fallen off the wagon as such, although I have "relaxed" a little now. While becoming debt-free I worked every hour available, paid everything off the cc bills and was 100% focussed. I thought once I was DF I would do the same and put it all into savings.:rolleyes: In reality, nowadays, I have relaxed the amount of overtime I do (which lets me spend more time with Mr P, which is good!
), and I make sure that any cc bill is paid off in full every month and something is put into savings every month, but I do allow us to spend a little more now on "luxuries"...theatre/cinema trips, the odd meal out, unneccessary spends. However, the DFW ways are slightly engrained, because I still search for cheaper ways to spend my money (I use vouchers, search for cheaper/free tickets at lastminute.com and seefilmfirst.com, and eat out at places I feel give me value for money). I also regularly check the net to make sure that any "luxury" spends can't be sourced in a cheaper way...
4) What the number means to them?
It means a lot! I know I'm part of a great group of people, who will be there to offer me support whenever I need it!! :T
please put down ur infomation below and anything else you feel is relevant
