Think I have found the venue of my dreams!
I just wondered if any one else is having, has had a wedding there?
What do you think of "THE" stair case, must admit thought of walking down it alone, (no father) scares me, might have to go barefoot!!
I'm hoping Dine (the caterers) offer corkage. I'm so excited, it looks stunning, going to go book a viewing now!!
Eeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkk!!
(the stairs incase any one wants a peek! http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=allerton+castle+stair&um=1&hl=en&sa=N&biw=1280&bih=709&tbm=isch&tbnid=OYJ2HQCsLc5j_M:&imgrefurl=http://kcb.orpheusweb.co.uk/gallery/page30.html&docid=b18XwTONIONq8M&w=295&h=400&ei=bItCTsoNjafxA7H5yLMJ&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=308&vpy=207&dur=261&hovh=262&hovw=193&tx=117&ty=97&page=1&tbnh=174&tbnw=115&start=0&ndsp=26&ved=1t:429,r:7,s:0 )

Hi
I am getting married at allerton in June this year. Corkage is charged at £50 per bottle and it's only onmthe drinks before then service I.e when getting ready. They do not offer corkage for the day and evening reception.
Its a fortune, but truly beautiful xx0 -
I wanted to get married there, it is absolutley stunning, but like others have said, really expencive. However if you can afford it, go for it

That would be THE most epic fail if you fell down them with all your wedding guests at the bottom :rotfl:
But it really is GORGEOUS!!What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
Its lovely. Stunning.
Yes go for a viewing - as others have said it will probably be expensive. You may, however, be able to do a deal e.g. midweek or low season.0 -
It looks lovely! I hope it lives up to your expectations when you look round
There's a lovely staircase at our venue but I could've killed my OH when he said that I might fall down them like the woman in the naked gun film (a film he finds hilarious but I don't because, apparently, I have no funny bone) :rotfl: 0
