Removing financial association?

I have just registered for Noddle and checked my credit report. Very happy to see a sea of green ticks for most of my accounts over the last 12 months  and one of my two remaining defaulted accounts will be showing "settled" at the end of the month :T

I have three associations on my account - one is my ex-husband, who I appreciate I can't have removed as the last defaulted account is a joint bank account that I have been paying off since we separated four and a half years ago. However, the other two associations are my mum, who was a guarantor on a loan for a motorbike in 2003 which was paid off in 2007, and my step-mother who I held a joint bank account with from 2005 - 2006, which was never overdrawn and is now closed. I know my mum has been having difficulty getting credit, despite never having defaulted herself so I wondered if the financial association with me is causing her problems, and I know my step-mother now has at least one CCJ, so I'm not sure if this association is affecting me?

Firstly, is it worth removing these two associations (assuming I can?) and how do I go about it?

Noddle uses the credit reference agency callcredit, so you can remove associates by sending off their dissociation request form (You can find it here - http://www.callcredit.co.uk/media/53054/disassociation%20form%20v2.0.pdf).

You should probably check experian and equifax (the remaining two credit reference agencies) to see if they are also listed as financial associates on there as well, if so you will have to send additional dissociation request forms to these agencies (which you'll find on their websites).
