ok what about wipes, tissues, mints, mini deodearant, mini shower gel, nail files, plasters, tampax/pads, cotton buds, mini bottle of wine, homemade goodies like jam, biscuits, engraved glasses, jewellery, mini sewing kit. Obviously they are for all baskets and you can mix and match depending on which bag/basket it is for.

There is probablly loads more will add when I remember hthx

Hi, here are a few ideas if you're still trying to fill your bags! Jelly Bean lip balm, novelty shower caps, eye pads can get cucumber ones I think, novelty key rings, fancy nail files, glow in the dark stickers, can get novelty plasters, mini perfume satchets like you get in magazines, mini notepads & pens, mini candle, novelty magnets, hankies, novelty cookie cutters, mini chocs, nail polish & toe separtors...
That's about all I can think of for now, hope this helps!

I'm looking on the freebies threads (low and no spend) for our hag night party bags, you can get lots of nice things on there from alcoholic miniatures to make-up! I'm also adding cheap things like glow bracelets and generic brand party feet from the pound shop and truth or dare questions you can print off at home. For the actual gift bags I'm getting these organza totes they're very pretty and only 35p each in multiples of 10!

For the bridesmaids gift bags I'm doing a bath set and a personal gift for each of them, think what you would buy them for Christmas or a birthday to match it to their personality.

For the toiletry baskets you could have stuff like:
    Breath mints/gum
    Plasters
    Tablet antacids
    Safety pins
    Pocket-packs of tissues
    Travel bottle of hand sanitizer
    Wipes
    Deodorant/body spray
    Nail Clippers and nail files
    Small first aid kit
    Air freshener
    Lint brush
Unscented hand lotion (Johnson & Johnson)
    Small sewing kit (with scissors)

    Additionally, in the ladies' basket:
    Hair spray
    Tights
    Tampons and pads
    Elastic hair ties
    Sample size perfume

    Additionally, in the men's basket:
    Hair gel
    Sample size cologne

Some people have painkillers for sore feet or headaches but it's safest not to if you have kids at the wedding!

It's important to put a note with the toiletry baskets so guests know it's from you not the venue or it won't seem as personal. A note is also helpful to remind guests not to take everything! Here is a poem I saw online:
To help you feel your best
Just use a little... freshen up
    And leave for other guests!
    We've put this together
    To help you along
    Now get yourself out there
    Before the next song!
  • Goody bags for your hens is a great idea, the pound shop is brilliant for multi-packs, so you should utilise!

mints, lip balm, a plaster for heel-blistered feet, some party feet, some tissues, makeup remover pads, a little chocolate should help bulk things up!

hope you you have a great time and share what you did put in them!

    "It's today," squeaked Piglet.
    "My favorite day," said Pooh."
  • aaw purple.sarah thats great help thanks very much!!
Ive made a start on stocking up today! Primark had lovely sets on sale, so I bought them a set with eye/sleeping masks, hairbands etc, all for £1! Going to add some mini bottles of champers, their jewellery to go with their dress, pj's and a dressing gown with bridesmaid on with diamantes and anything else I can think of!!

As for the toiletries baskets and hen night baskets it just so happens my maid of honour has recently started doing Avon so shes going to stock up on plenty of samples and any sales/free items!

Also if you've got a b***s avantage card maybe use your points in store and do the 3 for 2! Sometimes on this sites there are also discount codes for the bodyshop too. Or go to the make up counters if you are runing short of anything or want to get any makep for your big day they often give away freebies with items purchased.
