Would this work for a man?

    Yes.

Liz Earle uses different packaging for the men's range, but it's still the same product. So I'm sure the Superdrug will do for men too.

But I wouldn't recommend using the muslin cloth as bits come off it because of whiskers. Try a hot towelling flannel instead.

Edit: Been thinking. I couldn't advise you about applying it before or after shaving. Whether it would make your whiskers softer to make shaving easier I wouldn't know.

MrsE -Thanks for this. Purchased the Superdrug cleanser but not tried it yet. Would you say it's as good as the A'Kin?

Down to last bottle of Smashbox Oil now...

It's gone up about £3 in price, but Superdrug appears to be the better option.

    Thanks.

I will use a flannel instead. I tend to only shave once a fortnight because I don't like my agitated skin once shaved with all of the little spots it leaves behind.

I have bought another gel to use before shaving, so i'll see how that goes. If no luck with it, i'll try this one before shaving too.

I'm not sure if it's this cleanser or the Boots Rosewater toner, but one or both combined actually stinks. It's all I can smell and I swear I can taste it. I think it's the toner.

Used this twice so far so obviously no real results yet as such although my forehead is feeling smoother around the little spots.
