I did some quick googling too and it looks like it takes the Aqua Optima Water Filter Cartridges. HTH
Amazon has them for £12.99 for pack of 6 - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Aqua-Optima-Water-Filter-Cartridge/dp/B000V9F55A/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1312917878&sr=8-30 -

Biting is excellent. It's like kissing, only there's a winner.0 -
Thanks for your replies Ami82 & anna grant they certainly look the same shape of the jug. I have the jugs with Brita Maxtra filters unfortunately got about 2yrs supply as just bought lots from Tesco as £12 for 6 at moment and used CS coupons to get more money off them. A great price for the jug though thanks to OP and great link from you both to get the filters at a very good price.0

Now selling for £1.77 on the Currys website including free home delivery.
Ordered three of them cos won't get any Maxtra filter cartridges, which I currently use, for anything like £1.77.
Also got cashback with my credit card payment.
Absolute bargain and great find OP.:j:beer::j0
