Hi does anyone know when the LGPS increase for next year is announced and what it might be?

The 2012 increase, in common with other public sector schemes will be the CPI figure for August announced in September (unless various Judicial Reviews etc. in the pipeline are successful, in which case it would be the RPI figure. This is probably unlikely).

CPI for the 12 months up to Sep 2011 was 5.2% so that is what we expect LGPS pensions to go up by in April 2012.
