Charging order?!?!

The restriction will fall away at the point of sale.
When you sell you MUST get a solicitor that know's the difference between a restriction and a c/o, then you will walk away with the proceeds of the sale.
I refer you to Chippy's earlier answer. They are not going to do anything this side of the house sale0 -
Good, I hope I am just freaking out unneccessarily! This stuff just gets me down!0

Try not to stress. If your house is on the market already - do you have a knowledgable solicitor - one that knows the difference between a restriction & a charging order? If not, it may take some time - lots of ringing around conveyancing solicitors to find a good one, one that will act in YOUR best interest - their client. Please make this your priority.
Don't think about bankruptsy - it's very expensive for creditors & it appears your creditor would rather go down the charging order route to (try to) re coup their money.0 -
My house is the only asset I have so if they force bankruptcy on me, thats all I have, which they have restricted anyway!0
