Cake Making Supplies

I'm planning to make a birthday cake and need lots of supplies! Does anyone know anywhere in Belfast or nearby that would do coloured fondant icing at a reasonable price?

I also need baking tins and bases, dowels and a smoother... I need everything, most of which I'm sure I can get online cheaply but if there is a good supplier local I'd rather use them, and I want t see the colour/qty if the icing before I buy - thanks in advance!

https://www.creativecakes-ni.co.uk on Upper Newtownards Road have a great range of coloured fondant, baking tins (you can hire these too as far as I am aware) and loads of other stuff, I could spend a fortune in there!

lakeland will have some of this on Boucher Road, but creative cakes is more specialist.

Agree, Creative cakes is one of the few places in Belfast where you will find a good range of baking supplies

For tins try also Lakeland on the boucher rd, and larger Tesco's and Asda do a good range of baking tins, fondant (white) and decorations

Hi

Happened to notice that Sainsburys have a 1/3rd off a lot of their banking suppleis at the moment - decorations, buttercream icing etc.

Might be quite good for filling up on the basics!!
