HC1 form...will my BF's income effect my claim?

I'm currently a student, working part time (14hrs per week).
I went to the dentist today and need to get my wisdom teeth removed...around £60 in total IIRC on the NHS...
Anyway, the dentist said I can claim on this HC1 form since I'm still a student, but I wonder if my BF's income will effect me getting any benefits?
Any ideas?

Sorry, I should've included that - yes! We each split the bills 50/50 etc lol - and we get a council tax credit cause I'm a student0

if he works, hes expected to support you financially.
unless hes on a very low income, he will be expected to meet your dental costs.0 -
That's rubbish!! Is it probably better for me to get HSA through work?0

so you want to live as a couple and reap all the benefits, but not pay the costs?
welcome to the real world!0 -
Yes your partner's income will count.
Also, if you are a higher education student receiving the student finance package your maintanence loan/grant will be counted as income. Most students don't get low income benefits and help with dentist/prescription costs because their student finance package means they have too much income.0 -

I think it's supposed to take 2-3 days. You can also download the form from the NHS Choices website

Could we see the proof of this sweeping statement please? Where did you get your statistics from to allow you to come to this conclusion? A number of your posts lately (that I have seen anyway) seem written purely to put people down - lighten up, the OP was asking for help and information. I didn't see her say 'I want to get this treatment for free' at any point in her post, she was asking for help to make sure she does things the right way.0
