Egg card policies & settlement offers

Hi all,

I am currently on a DMP with CCCS, who are great!!! however I recently changed my job again which is going to mean my current plan of £510 per month will have to be reduced, to around £200 per month.

so the torch providing the light at the end of my tunnel is actually running out of batteries and will soon go out.

I decided to take drastic action and sell my car, at which point I was expecting to raise £4000, so I used the CCCS guidance and offered all of my creditors a settlement figure as full and final, trying to get it sorted once and for all.

MBNA rejected the offer saying it was too low, and egg blankly refused to discuss it as they said my balance is less than £1000, I have 3 accounts with them, 2 cards of £973 and £731 respectively, then a loan of £1840, but this has been transferred to RMA.:(

So my question is, has anybody dealt with egg on a full and final settlement of less than £1000, and how you went about getting them to agree, to a settlement figure.
