How long should a customer wait for a refund?

The rep should give you your money back when they collect the item(s).

Their account should be credited within 3 weeks so it shouldn't take any longer than that for them to get the money if they have told you they couldn't afford to pay you it there and then.

I'm not an expert but I'm sure somebody will come and put me right if that's not correct

Hmm, it will be a week tomorrow since she collected the item and I would have thought she would have been in contact by now. Not sure what to do, I know she lives on my street but not sure which house.

If you could find their contact details you could give them a ring and ask for an update on your refund. Have you got a past order form that might have their contact details or do you know anyone else who gets a book?
