Where do we start .
Made Redundant and got a bit of cash for that . Got a new job that pays less - A lot less - than previous job . But hey a Jobs a Job . I was paying out £300 month more on debt than I was bringing in . After redundancy money was gone and several attempts at getting a better payed job , I decided to get help . I contacted "Payplan" . They promised the world to me .
9 mths down the line and they have - as they have called it "Misplaced" £1500 of my money . They have the Acct No's and S/Code of my debtors and the bank transfer No's but cannot locate the money .
Luckily my Debtors have been very understanding and have had previous dealings with PayPlan and have frozen the interest on my accts for 9 mths and not received a penny yet .
I have now stopped all contact with PayPlan for the past 4 mths and dealing with my debtors myself . PayPlan have not even contacted me to find out why I have stopped my DD with them .
Has anyone else had issues with PayPlan or have I just been very unlucky??
Start Debt : £35000.00
Current Debt : £32000.00 ( 13ths later )
Estimated Payoff Date : £ Too Bloomin' Long
Any Suggestions ????

Hi Scottish bloke, and welcome.
Although I myself have never had any dealings with payplan, a lot of people on this forum have/continue to do so, and the impression I have always had is that they are very good, so perhaps it has been bad luck for you. Not that that helps your situation though!
On deciding to deal with your debtors yourself, people on this forum will be more than happy to help you out with advice/guidance and support, based on collective experience, should you so ask for it.
I'm sure someone more knowledgable on Payplan will come along and give you some words of wisdom.
Wishing you all the best.0 -
Oh dear, this does not sound good. I'm so sorry for you. I am in a DMP with Payplan and have had no problems at all. In fact they have been nothing but helpful. Do you have a Case Officer? Do you have Justabank set up so you can track your payments? I think you need to contact your Case Officer asap and find out what on earth has been going on. If they can't help, go to their supervisor. Someone has messed up big time and they need to sort this out for you, even if you decide not to continue with them.Total debt May 2005 £83,232

Proud to have dealt with my debts

Hey Duncans Mum ,
Thanks for the advise . The general feedback I have had has been mixed from others on the PayPlan issue .
Hopefully others will give me feedback on my issues . I have only joined the site today but have enjoyed , and used a lot of the money saving tips offered by Martin and Co .
Good Luck also on the Smoking . Smoked 40 a day for 9 yrs . Quit 3 yrs ago and going strong . Will power is a must for this .
Take Care and Thanks

Hey Moxie ,
Case Officer was as much use as a ...... Well you know what .
I asked for a supervisor and they progressed the issue but again a brick wall .
The other issue is there opening hours . I work from 7 till 6 and they are open from 8 - 6 . I have no access to a phone and any email messages on Justabank are being ignored or a voice mail is left on my home phone for me coming home .
I think if it wasn't for bad luck I would have no luck . HaHa
Thanks for you help Moxie

Methinks that you should be talking to the Trading Standards Office quick sharp - Payplan will soon listen to them.
Payplan have lost your money.
Payplan need to find your money
The Company that I am using set up an online account for me so that I can see the money that has gone in from my bank account and the money that has been paid out to whom and when.
You need to get this sorted out.0
