Thank you all for you replies, I'm only accessing the internet at the Library when I can, so hope you don't think was ignoring you!

I called ACAS for advice today and they said advised postponing the suggested meeting until I have the results of my MRI scan (having on 18th) and when am of slightly clearer judgement (strong painkillers and tranqs) also in no way shape or form can they insist that this meeting is held at my own home - it is a work matter.

If they refuse to postpone meeting then ACAs advised me to say do it in my absence, send me copies of notes and any decisions made and I will address any grievances with the company after.

    Thank you all again :)

    Oh my God!!!!

What are these people at ACAS on? This could be your last opportunity to contribute to the consideration of whether you save your job and they are advising you to let the employer decide!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:

Yes, by all means request the postponement, but if they refuse you MUST engage with them, otherwise the likelihood that you will lose your job will simply become a certainty.

Well this is still rumbling on :/

I had to get district manager involved in the end as my boss was not replying to my requests for a postponing of this meeting, and they arrnaged a suitable date/time with him and let me know themselves, after 30 mins they made a slight mistake with date/day and recontacted us all to clarify.

Fast forward to today, - thankfully not having a mega bad day! - and I turn up as arranged, stressed all flippin night and morning about this, and my boss wasn't there - not in today at all, the assistant boss was out doing some shopping - !! - and came back when a supervisor rang to say I was there for the meeting. She denied knowing about this meeting, said boss didn't know, said nothing was in the book - and that's what I get for going to Head Office - then went on to contradict herself by saying oh yes they got the date a bit wrong didn't they?!

I've had my MRI but am still awaiting results so am not really in any position to tell them anything that they don't already know, or plan a return to work.

Where to go from here :/ can't believe I've still got this hanging over me and going to have to have another stressful run up to the re rearranged meeting!
