Tuesday 9th August What small DFW things will you do today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym. :money:
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Morning gang  been up since 6.30 on my day off  ds was up & watching telly so that was my lay in out of the window! Anyway what is it they say about the early bird??? hmmmmm we'll see!
Managed to do not a lot of my list yestrday as oh took an unexpected day off.....
Today:
and finally wrote a list of what items I need/would like to finish off my wardrobe. Very satisfying! I can honestly say that everything I own goes with at least 5 things, suits me & is wearable! :T very satisfying!
finish a couple of things on my 101 list
ok peeps have fun out there :A

Good morning everyone, and thanks to DNMS for getting us going this morning. I'm suffering from 'slow-start' this morning. Can't seem to get motivated for an *exciting* day at the office, especially after seeing that amazing premises yesterday. I must remember I've got to walk before I can fly on my broomstick

So far:- ran DW overnight on Economy 7
- fed and watered the chickens and boxed some eggs for a customer
- made packed lunch from stores
- ordered loads of books from Amazon using Nectar vouchers and Opinion Poll voucher :T
- checked banking
- checked for surveys
- read at lunchtime to avoid going out
- pick blackberries from work's garden (they'll only go to waste if I don't)
- get paid for eggs
- stay overnight at DD's house and drink all her tea

Morning all!
Just been watching the news - its shocking isn't it? How do people justify doing that? Amazing.
Anyway, the team of 4 decorators arrived at 8am and are hard at it! I keep telling myself it'll be nice when its done - hopefully by the end of the day - no more mess!! Hurrah!
Today I have already (due to having to get up early so I was decent by the time they arrived)...- Taken the dog for a good run to the park to tire him out so he doesn't get in the way
- Phoned the kennels to cancel today as its a nice day and he can spend most of it in the garden saving £12 (although he's fast asleep on my lap at the moment!)
- Phoned the surveyor to make an appointment for Friday so the mortgage application will plod along
- Checked the bank and moved £100 from savings to keep me out of overdraft before I get paid
- Walk dog again to keep him tired (cruel mummy!)
- Phone mum later with free landline
- Do some school work as I can't do much else in the house with all of the men here (sounds awful doesn't it!)
- All food from stores (except maybe some lunch if I can't get into the kitchen)
- Put everything back to normal when they've finished
- Try taking the spare flooring back again - hopefully the manager will be in today:mad:
- Start a meal plan and shopping list for next week (trying to keep it under £25)
