Job Training

I want to train as a mortgage adviser and will need to take CeMAP 1, 2 & 3 examinations. However, I am unemployed and need to find the cheapest way of training for these exams.
Does anyone know where I could get a copy of CeMAP training disc/material?
Any advice on how to go about this would be appreciated.

Hi, i have just gone through the same process myself, discovered on the learn direct websibe under >impartial advice on careers and learning >jobs and careers > job profiles > financial services > mortgage advisor, all you need to know. With the ifs school of finance it costs £130 per module, you can purchase additional help materials but i havent - it helps to just read through the whole of the manual then re-read section by section over and over again ! There are a lot of vacancies for people who just have CeMAP 1 ....0

I am surprised that you are considering paying for it privately. Whilst I dont work in our retail banking sector our jobs board always has vacancies for trainee mortgage advisors with the company paying for the relevant qualifications... last time I looked at our company policy the only requirement is that you stay with the company for 18months after qualifying and then you can walk, before that you have to pay a proportion of the training costs backAll posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
