Fixing bent glasses frames

Stupid me fell asleep last night watching tv and slept on my glasses.. Consequently they've bent out of shape and are too wide. Every time I look down they fall off my nose.

They need bending back close to the hinge rather than along the arm - is there a diy method of doing this? I'm frightened I'll break them and can't afford any new ones. I know I could go to the opticians to fix them but am not due a visit in town now for at least a week, and am certainly not spending £10 on petrol just for this.

Help please

Thanks LJ

trouble is if you fiddle about with them it might be £10 and the cost of a new pair of glasses.

Best doing it the safets way, just do everything you were going to do next week, this week.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

totally agree - I'd go back to the opticians if I were you!

I've lost count of the number of times I've had to do it..
