It's a really unnerving and utterly synthetic take on real ice cream. It doesn't have the mouth feel of cream even though it initially tricks your tongue into thinking it's going to have. It is overpoweringly sweet and the flavour is the same as those foam/mallow ice cream sweets you used to get.

If you want exactly the same kind of experience and you didn't get the packet buy the very, very cheapest brick of value ice cream you can find, but even that will lack the cheated feeling of something that's a bit like ice cream at first but then turns into air and sugar.

Other than the novelty, this product can have no market. If you like this kind of experience you'd surely buy really cheap ice cream and save yourself the 5 minute whisking and 4 hours of freezing. The nutritional values are awful, it's clearly nothing but multiple forms of powdered fat and sweetner.

I just don't understand who would buy this dreadful stuff.

The competition ends on 25th August so I expect it will be some time after that.
