Going Through Old Bank Statements!

Just got our bank statements back from Natwest for the past 6 years as hoping to claim all our charges back, totals nearly 3k so it would be nice to get them back!! I can't believe how much money we used to spend on eating out, socialising and unecessary grocery shopping! There are entries for card usage in restaurants 3-4 times a week and then £200 on food shopping!
Now wonder we ended up in so much debt!

It's a sobering read looking at when you got into debt and the way you used to spend before MSE! I agree when I looked through my statements and claimed my money back I also cancelled a lot of direct debits that were just going out for no real benefit to me, reassesed my card usage and watched how often I withdrew cash. Saves you even more then you claim back!Debt £5600 all 0%0
