Chair Covers!

We're having our wedding all at the one venue. The only thing is, the chair covers are included but only in one room. They won't move the chairs from the room we're getting married in to the room for the reception :(
I'd really like them for the reception but I don't want the other room to look bare!
Any suggestions with what I could do with the bare chairs??

Thanks

could you not get a couple of people to move them across during photos??

if you've got a sweing machine could you not make some covers of your own (and then sell on)

or just get some pretty fabric to tie/ drape over the chairs
The only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 5

The room wont look bare - it'll be full of guests!
  • Thats true Rainbow lol! Thanks double mummy. Suggested getting people to move the chairs to my OH, he said he'd do it himself lol. Might look into the fabric idea.... not so good on a machine!
    Thanks again :)

you could just get some organza in your colour scheme to make pretty bows around them like this

Tell the venue to buy or hire some more chair covers, and that you expect room decorations in both rooms included in the agreed price.
A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.
  • I've booked chair covers for the reception (80) but not bothered with the chairs for the ceremony room as well, as we'll only be in that room for half an hour, whereas the reception room will be occupied for about 6 or 7 hours. I couldn't justify spending double on chair covers for just half an hour! And everyone's eyes should be on ME and not the chairs!!!

We had Pull-tie ribbons on our chairs and I curled the ends. They looked great and only took a few minutes to do!
