Help with Nectar

finallydebtfree!!

I was in Sainsburys the other day and they asked if I had a nectar card, I realised that I did have one so handed it over. Apparently I have 834 points, I dont very often shop at sainsburys as since moving there is not one nearby.
Trouble is I cant remember anything about nectar, where can I use my card and what do my points equate to?
asked a few people at work and they all gave me different answers, then thought hang on a minute I bet my fellow MSE'ers will know!! (because between us we probably know almost everything!!
:rotfl:)
hope someone can give me a little help!
ps if this is in the wrong place feel free to move it!
pps found a link on here for a survey with the aa that gives you 50 free nectar points, so have a few more now, although dont know what I can use them for!

if you have your card you can register online i think then it tells you how much you have and what you can spend it on!
also the best place i earn points is bp petrol, brewers fayre and adams kids!
i'm sure if you can't regiater online you can get the phone number off the website and register over the phone.Best Threads -

You can also get Nectar points if you use EDF Energy suppliers. You just need to register your card with them."I've fallen down a hole" - said in best Monty Python voice-over.0

Hi there
I work at Sainsburys and you can use your Nectar points in your home store, to make a store your home one you need to shop there 3 times consecutively. 500 points will give you £2.50. You can also contact Nectar and ask them to send you vouchers.
Hope this helps0 -
I use the survey site TNS and they pay you in nectar points - each survey is usually about 300 points so not bad and it goes automatically onto your card. Ive used my nectar points to get 15% off a hotel bill with octupus travel which saved us about £80 for about £20 worth of points. Not a really good savings card but you can get some benefits...0
