If anyone gets any spare McDonald or Burger King booklets, we would be interested in them and could send a SAE for them.0

arthur_dent wrote:The forum is about money saving, if you are the sort of person who likes the odd Mcdonalds meal then this is a way of getting that meal cheaper or I believe that some coupons are completely no spend required, such as coffee for example. Therefore it is a freebie and as such counts on this part of the MSE forum.
To save the previous arguments, and second the comments of some other posters, that's the key test for the benefit of new MSE'ers. Is there something completely free available, or not? If there is, it should stay here.
If not and it's a discount or BOGOF offer it should go in the other Forum.
To give you another example - people often post in this Forum for offers where you actually pay p&p - likewise, people complain and they get moved as they are not completely free.
Finally, and to be fair to panpriffs, so many people post either without thinking or things that are not 100% free in this section (and add to that all the spam posts) that it gets really irritating after a while - that tends to explain some of the caustic comments some of you are getting.0 -

you have to spend money on these offers?
as I said earlier if u want to kill urself instead of eating McDonalds poison why not just jump off a bridge?
Surely we can ban all McDonalds related offers from the entire forum, they are one of the most unethical companies on the planetThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,

They've had these free in the Metro, thelondonpaper, as well as some Burger King ones. I'm always happy about these, I pay little money and get fed, rather pay 99p for a BOGOF on cheeseburgers than £3 up the road for a sausage sandwich.~*Cerenia*~

go to https://www.mcdonalds.co.uk click on 'mac' (the grey button around the middle) and register, or enter your details at https://www.makeupyourownmind.co.uk/?xtor=ADC-1 or e-mail mc'ds directly via https://www.mcdonalds.co.uk/asp/contactus/asp/CU_Authorise.asp?page=comment
Sites that link to these say they'll send you a coupon book but the site itself doesn't.
I've also found a few sites that say mc'ds aren't sending voucher books to o/l members and if you e-mail for one they tell you to go into your local store, so it's a bit of a lottery whether contacting them works atall
Thank you for that information. I have a six year old son and although I don't like him having McDonalds too often, I don't mind it as a treat and this will save us some money!!0 -
This happens everytime a post about mcdonalds appears, theres always one KNOW IT ALL, we can all make our own minds up and when you have kids who you can treat now and again its normally mcdonalds they ask for and if you can save some money then im all for it.. Freedom of speech says you can say what you want it doenst say shove it down your throat and dont let anyone else have a sayThose we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,

Ok I see your point! However it is nice to treat yourself or family once in a while on a McDonalds burger, as long as it is only a once in a while treat, it does no harm. I give my coupons to my son, who shares them with his mates at college, and they use them for a lunch break snack! Very handy for cash strapped students is the BOGOF offers.
My younger sons also enjoy a McD now and again, and why not! I cook them enough healthy food at home, its not as if they are always getting takeaway meals, in fact can't remember the last time we had a takeaway meal as a family, they are too expensive. (I weigh up the cost and always manage to talk myself out of it and cook it myself).keep smiling,
