Have you moved about a bit, youve had cases at court 3 times and youve had no correspondence.
Do you know what they are for, maybe you should find out.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
You can find out by ringing the court and quoting the reference number. This is quite safe.
However, there is a chance that applying for your credit report might now allow the creditor(s) to piece together your address history and contact you at your current address.
You are correct to say that the ccj drops off your record after six years.
Once you know what they are, you can decide what to do about them.0 -
i have never moved and still live/own the house.0

does the ccj still stay on after 6 if not paid?0

No, it drops off settled or not.
The owner of the ccj can still both chase and enforce payment of the outstanding sum though.Happiness, is a Kebab called Doner.....:heart2::heart2:0 -
after reading into ccj,s i still am unsure if they go after 6 years if not paid? i have all court numbers and cost etc but have no idea who they are for. i got into debt when younger and they are all registerd in 2006. i want to sort my debts out and move on with things but getting a straight answer is hard work thanks to everyone who has replyed so far!0

They def drop off after 6 years, paid or unpaid.
The debt still remains and can be chased / enforced though.
The ccj cannot be placed back on the file.
If the creditors are not chasing, then just stay quiet.
The debt will become statute barred after 6 years of non payment / admittance.
Edit.
When was the last time a payment was made toward any of them??Happiness, is a Kebab called Doner.....:heart2::heart2:0 -
i have not paid anything off them since they were issued did not even know what they were for0
