Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway

[STRIKE]Open the windows and turn on some music!
Vacuum floors and sofas!
Declutter the chairs, floor and top of any cupboards!

Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves!
Sort out coats, shoes and bags
Clean any ornaments, glass, mirrors, pictures etc

Check those smoke alarms!
Wipe sofas, paintwork and dusty places
HHC in the hallway.. vacuum floors/stairs, wipe paintwork, fling that junk mail!.. if there is a charity shop bag.. FILL IT!
Empty and wash out vacuum cleaner.. don't forget filters!

Catch up on some calls/emails
Binbag dance
Clean switches and sockets
Wipe the windows in these areas[/STRIKE]

Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining area

[STRIKE]Sweep and mop the floor
Clear and wipe worksurfaces
Clean the sink!

Wipe fronts of appliances and units
Wipe small appliances and replace.. make sure the inside of microwave etc are sparkly and hygienic![/STRIKE]
Wipe table and replace cloth if needed

Clear and wipe window sills
Clean out the fridge thoroughly
Wipe over oven and hob.

Sort tea towels.. fling/donate (to pdsa/animal rescue /window cleaner) any that are shamefully manky!
Replace dish cloths that are gross
Descale kettles/irons/taps etc
Empty and wash out bins!

Wednesday - Bathroom and Study/Pc Area

Clean floors in these rooms
Clean baths, toilets, don't forget the outside! and sinks.. shine the taps with a toothbrush
[STRIKE]Make sure smoke alarms are fully functional!

Clear any clutter from desk[/STRIKE]
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc

Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc
Scrub down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this.
Empty and clean out all the upstairs bins!
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
[STRIKE]Collect all the dirty laundry[/STRIKE]

Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
Fling all those empty bottles and tubes
replace any sponges, flannels, toiletries that need it
[STRIKE]Start on those name tapes for back to school!!![/STRIKE]

Thursday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing

[STRIKE]Declutter the floor
Remove and wash bed linen. replace before bedtime!!![/STRIKE]

Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
Wash windows and nets/curtains
[STRIKE]Vacuum and turn mattress before replacing fresh linen
15 minutes floordrobe clearance[/STRIKE]

Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
[STRIKE]Sort one area of clothes or linen storage making sure only what should be in there is, anything that's had it's day or doesn't belong there is removed[/STRIKE]
Sort through a box or bag of stuff you've not looked at in months..

Binbag dance!
Wipe grotty paintwork.. touch up any bits that are looking shabby
Wash windows
[STRIKE]HHI[/STRIKE]

Friday - childrens rooms and spare room

[STRIKE]Clear the floor!!![/STRIKE]
vacuum the floor
[STRIKE]Make half an hour to do something for yourself!

Strip the bedding get it washed and remake the bed[/STRIKE]
Wash windows
Binbag dance (doesn't have to be in one room it can be from all over the house!)

[STRIKE]tidy the cupboards /drawers of clothes[/STRIKE]
Sort through a box of toys/gibble
Wipe grotty marks from the walls and paintwork

Clean out any pongy pets
dust the light fittings/curtain poles etc
HHI
HHC in a room that needs lots of attention!!

ok im just about done for the day, i really cant move now

ive cleared the spare room floor again
hoovered it at last
wiped paintwork in hall and hoovered top landing
taken clutter from landing downstairs to be binned
closed babys room door as cat keeps sleeping on top of my luggage
cleared desk of carp
binbag danced in spare room, bathroom and my room
and got clothes ready for tomorrow

9. arrange weekend for my parents to come down and build/fix things
10. prepare house for winter (list on preping for winter thread)
11. install cat flap
12. make shopping list for groceries for next month/birthdays/chrsitmas
13. change cat details with vet
14. sort out socks and bin yucky ones
15. buy/find rug for living room floor
17. more curtain things to be added to make them hang better.

Book holiday time for home visit in September and November September requested, can't request November until after sister's next scan, she may have c-section, meaning can visit earlier.

Not according to the Easyjet website. We are all on the same flight. Only thing in her favour is that she is a skinny as I was when I had DD1. Alot of people thought I had stolen a baby because I only put on stone and looked like I'd eaten a big dinner.

Very busy flying since I got home from work. MB Bed stripped and remade. Bunk beds stripped and remade. 4 more loads of washing. Kitchen floor swept. Kitchen bins emptied and disinfected. Enormous pile of clean washing sorted out. Lunch cooked. All windows needing cleaning have been cleaned.

I think I have earned a cup of tea. Then I will start on the enormous pile of ironing.

i think i would like to start today over again, or at least i would if it wasnt so late in the day.

finally spoke to scottish widows and after crying on the phone and being a total biatch to the manager we are making progress. however all this could have been avoided if the very first person i had spoken to had read through the account properly as what has the manager found???? just instructions and a dd mandate from OH to pay the policy! so getting a call back from the manager tomorrow pm to udpate me on the dd being set up and arrears being taken so at least thats something as we are just about to miss the 4th payment which would result in the policy being cancelled :eek:

im going go and declutter a chippy tea, so much for cutting back on the junk food. healthy eating starts tomorrow!

Well just about done. Not bad for day one. The front room actually looks like a room now, not a landfill site. Now all I can think about is dinner but got to wait until OH comes home!

havent done alot today. i made roasted butternut squash and red pepper soup which is pretty bloomin' good! for lunch tomorrow.

been chucking it down here all day so stayed in till my mum came round for a cuppa and i ran out to supermarket for some veg leaving my midgets in her capable hands.

nearly bed time for the midgets and im putting my feet up and watching crap tv all night! might even treat myself to a cheeky wkd too!

Killer cat followed me & Ds2 to my sister's home. She was invited in as last time she did this she went missing afterwards. She met the family chinchilla and hissed at him. Their fish escaped harm. We didn't stay long and then she followed us home.


LR throw 1 of 5 is in TD, Dinner decluttered and cleared away.

I'm going to start desk in between browsing.
