I'm getting into this eBay lark!!

So I'm just watching the hollyoaks omnibus and having a cup of tea but in the next break I'm going to grab 10 things and stick them on eBay for 99p each. Then hopefully this time next week I'll have made a tenner and will have the enthusiasm to do it again

Wish I had the motivation to get my !!! of the sofa and do the same! Never mind...you'll be £10 better off than I am next week.

P.s...just a tip. Wait until about 8pm to list them - that's the most popular time so you're more likely to get a better price!

Oh right. Thanks for the tip. Think I'll do that then. I can type all the listings up and then just save them as word docs until 8 ish can't I?!

It's a good plan.... but I don't think I have 10 things I don't want!

Thanks for the tip about 8pm being the most popular time lvm. I've got a few things listed that haven't sold so will wait until 8 to relist them. Fingers crossed I will have some sales next Sunday!:)

No old DVDs or CDs? No old books? Pots? Clothes? Ornaments? Even an old phone can be worth a pound or two to someone.

Make sure you take into account the insertion fees and paypal fees etc and weigh your item to work out postage so you do actually make a profit! Good luck!

Another idea is to put items up on a Thursday and put it up for 10 days then it ends on a Sunday but catches 2 weekends worth of browsers.. no good for today of course but an idea for the future

Hi, ive been doing ebaying lately and chipping quite abit off my debt...good luck
If you set them as a scheduled listing for perhaps a few days after you want them to start, you can go back in tonight and click revise item and take out the scheduled listing bit and it starts them straight away. I do this with all mine so I can type up loads in advance and get all the photos loaded and then go back on Sunday evening and revise them to start straight away.
